94 LT1 Corvette with 16 pin ALDL port

Hello, I've looked at aldlcable.com and at the moates.net for info on the cable I would need to data log onto my laptop. I am trying to record data to send to a specialist who could assist diagnose the reason I am getting a misfire/vibration at certain RPM ranges. My question is-adldcable sells a cable for 60.00. However Moates website seems to say that only their cable and included hardware, for 80.00 will work on the 16 pin version, which was used in late '94 and 95 OBD1 vettes. Can someone tell me which product I need to successfully data log?

I just ordered the aldlobd2u from OBD Diagnostics for my 94 Corvette. I will let you know if it works.

Thats the right cable for the 94/95 vehicles that transferred the hardware to OBD2, but not the 0utput wiring transmission.


I just started looking into this program and web sit. If I read a question and know an answer, I will answer so others have help.
