Tuning newbie here

Post by My71bmf »

I am getting the hardware to be able to tune my TBI on my 1989 K5 Jimmy. I have Vortec heads, a HT383/Ramjet 350 cam, a RPM style intake with the adapter for the throttle body. A breathable air cleaner lid. EGR and cat deleted/removed. I have a yellow striped spring in my regulator, and have a Vortec pump in the tank. I have a constant 25 psi fuel pressure at idle. I am curious if anyone has done a similar build that would be willing to share the .bin file that would get me in the ball park. I am totally new to this, so any recommendations will be welcomed. Thank you in advance.

the stock computer is 1227747, 86ANLW.

I'm just looking for a place to start. I know I need to lean down the fuel table, and tune out the EGR. Also play with the timing as well. I was hoping someone on here had a similar set up that could get me the starting point I need.
