help a dummy out MEFI4 ALDL connect issues

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a Malibu boat with MEFI 4b. I have the OBD I/ALDL cable that I can connect from ECU to laptop. Cable works great with the old Scanner Pro or Scan9495 by Gary. I have the latest version of TunerPro RT (version 5). Trying to get this cable to connect and use TunerPro. Not having any luck. Tried youtube and the search bar. If i hit aquire data i get DA connected. Maybe that means cable is connected. I cant find any drop down menus or bars for ALDL like the youtube video using version 4. I'll keep searching and trying to find a tutorial but any help would be greatly appreciated. Temp gauge and hour meter quit working. Was trying to find a program where I can see real time data. Not sure if that is even possible with ALDL.
