have the bin and xdf file, what kind of cable for this? pic

My friend and I are not completely satisfied with using the "magic chips" available from Dali Racing and ProSpeed for his 1991 Acura NSX.

I have been playing around with TunerPro and have the definition file to use as well as the stock bin file.
I already own a Transtronics emulator and have experience tuning with Hondata and Crome... I am just trying to get used to the software now.

To datalog and use the cell trace feature, I need a cable to connect from the ecu.
The problem is that I can not find anybody that can help me locate or even tell me what kind of cable that I need.

Here is a pic of the connection on the side of the ecu. This is an OBD1 ecu.


Any help would be more than appreciated!

I don't recognize that connection.

On other Honda ECUs, such as the type used on the B16, D16, etc, use this cable:

Craig Moates ( www.moates.net ) will likely be able to let you know or have a good idea if these interfaces will work with your ECU.

I actually have the first logging device you pictured.
I use it to tune with Crome.

I have tried contacting Moates.net as well as everyone else I could think of for that matter.
Either nobody knows, or nobody is telling what kind of connection that is or what to use.

We may just be SOL on trying to tune the NSX ecu.

If you open up the ecu are there any markings on the body of the socket to indicate the manufacturer?
