Data entry questions

Post by cbernhardt »

I am having a problem with the “Copy From Compare” function in TunerPro. As a test to see if I was doing something wrong, I copied an existing BIN file (file “A”) and named it file “B”. I opened file “A” and set file “B” as the compare file. When I edit a table and hit the “Compare” button, I see that all the values in the table are the same in both files. If I highlight one of the cells and use the toolbox “Cpy Frm Cpr” function the value placed in the cell is not the value from correct cell, but it is a value from the compare file 4 cells further down the row.

Also another question along the same lines. If I enter a value (i.e. 3.5) in a cell using the “Fill w/ Value” function the proper value appears in the cell. When I then hit the “Save” button, the table is removed from the viewing area and when I go back to the table the value appears as 3.5. If I enter a value of 3.7, hit “Save”, then return to the table the value appears as 3.9. If I enter 3.1, the “Saved” value appears as 3.2.

What am I doing wrong?

I am using Windows XT Home and TunerPro version 4.14.0348.00. I also tried TunerPro RT version 4.14.0348.00 and get the same results.

Thanks,
Charles

Sorry for the delayed reply. Can you send me the 2 bins and XDF file you're using?
