Well I got tired of parts changing and guessing as a method of repair on my wife's beloved '91 Camaro RS with the 3.1 six.
I downloaded TunerproRT, and bought a cable from aldlcable.com which reportedly with work with this system as it uses a different pin to communicate the ALDL data vs the V8 cars.
I cannont get a connection, and digging around I found it (Tunerpro) is looking for a Tpi with a 160 baud rate, when I want it to look for a 3.1 using a 8192 rate.
Bottom line is where do I find the definition file online, and then how in ell do I get it "in" to Tunerpro so I can find out really what it is doing?
I posted on Thirdgen.org and I could hear crickets chiping- it seems overf there if you aren't packing a stroker motor nobody can help you!
Yet another newbie!!!

www.moates.net scroll down to where it says "File uploads and downloads" in the left header, follow the instructions, and search for a matching .ads file for your car.
To use it, go to Tools>ALDL datalogging>Setup. Or just hit "F4" for the shortcut. There is also a shortcut button at the top of the Tuner Pro RT window.
Then click browse, find the file, click on it and then hit "select log for Rec/Play" and create a file. Search on this forum for a thread I posted about how to do that exactly.
