Tuner pro shut downs and bad checksum

Post by patcon »

Back in the fall, I had started doing some BIN editing, because my mail order stuff wasn't working. I am working on a BJYL file for a 95 suburban, I have a chip header and downloaded the BIN through a Burn 1 unit. Then the laptop I was using crashed and I lost everyhting and my copies of Datamaster, Tuner Pro, etc.. Datamaster was not available until last week due to a windows 7 upgrade. I downloaded Tunerpro RT v4.14.0381.00 down on to my desk top running Windows 7 and my laptop running Windows XP. I tried to look at a BIN on the Windows 7 machine. I selected a definition (OD_V1_02), then a BIN(the original BJYL) but some where in between there and trying to look at a constant; it said this app has an error and must close. I figured it was a Windows 7 prolbem so I tried the XP machine, but it did also. I tried to open up something again and on the second try it worked on the laptop with XP. I edited my BIN file and went to SAVE AS another name. When I did it said it could not update the check sum. I have not had that error in the past. I made the same edits previously before the other laptop crashed. How do I deal with these issues.
