Bin Stacker and Block Size

Post by bcollida »

OK guys I am making real headway.
I was able to read my chip and make a simple change to the bin.
I added 200 rpm to idle when A/C is on and created a new bin.
I have ordered some chips from Moates they are the of the 512 size.

I believe this means I need to use the Bin stacker in Tuner Pro.

The Bin stacker has three parameters,Bin size, Chip Size and Block size.

I believe the bin size is 16K, the chip size will be 512K but what should I set the block size at?

depends on how your bin switching hardware works... if it can jump through the EEPROM at 16KB intervals, set it to that. if it can go through in 4KB increments, set it to that.
