Newbe needs more information

Post by low4x4 »

I just installed tunerpro and would like to fully be able to understand what I am doing...any information on sites, text, videos or books would be helpful...I have a 355 mpfi supercharged/intercooled modified, tunable, OBD1 in a 95 gmc and would like to get all that I can out of it...thanks for any info pointing me in the right direction....

You may want to narrow down your request to one or two things at a time. If it will take someone an hour to compose a response to a wide ranging request, you probably won't get many replies.

For starters look at the links & resources page of tunerpro.net .

I've picked up a considerable amount from googling the term "lt1 pcm tuning" and doing alot of reading.

is it all controlled by the stock pcm from the 95 GMC? did the engine builder tune it? or is it still running on stock tune? (scary)

you've been through these 2 on dynamicefi's site, right?
http://www.dynamicefi.com/Tune_Intro.php

that looks like a pretty decent step by step to tuning your computer, and should be able to help you narrow down to specific questions.
