TPv5 Data Logging

Post by magg »

Need help to understand best method for repeated start/stop logging without laptop shutdown. Problem occurs when a logging period is saved & the laptop is placed in hibernation or standby with TPv5 still open. When I return to TPv5 & begin new logging session, the new log record includes the time elapsed from the last record saved. Results in record that can be many hours long with only a short period of data at the end.

Was hoping that I would not have to shutdown laptop at the connclusion of every logging run.

I use same procedure but when repeated for another logging session I find that the all the following records is much longer than the actual logging periods and contain an extended period at the beginning of each record without any data.

I'm pretty sure this problem has been around since ScannerPro. I know I've told Mark about it a long time ago.

no. the unregistered version is in no way limited other than the 10 second nag screen at the beginning, that is all.

Thanks dfddfd2 & robertisaar. Looks like I just have to close TP RT after very logging run.
