Is it possible to accumulate running totals? I.E. total running distance. The value from the ECM quickly rolls over time and time again. So, I can't simple display the value as a mileage gauge. The value is only one byte long. So is rolls from 1 to 255 and then back to 1, etc, etc, etc. This also happens with running fuel totals. Is there a register or something that can be used to store each time the total flips back over to 1? How would that be set up? I have searched the forums many times but I have not been able to find a similar question. Any help or clues would be appreciated.
