Why?

Well I am building a old 258 inline six jeep engine with the newer 4.0L head and a 2001 4.0L intake manifold. The 2001 to last year 2006 4.0L engine had an improved tuned port intake manifold which I am going to use. This is a proven increase of HP and common upgrade in the jeep world.
On the intake is the injectors which reserch shows will work with GM ECM. And a TPS, IAC, IAT and a MAP sensors. So if I can make them work I will not have to make the changes I had planned which was some machine work and TIG welding the old throttle body off and installing a GM throttle body.
