$24 connects, but no data

I have a 86 Fiero GT 2.8

downloaded the $24 ads. it connnects fine, but shows no information. I'm just trying to display sensor info with the engine not running (since it doesnt start) for diagnostics reasons.

I notice a note about using a 10k resistor.. so where do I put it? thanks

between the A and B terminals on the ALDL connector.

TP V5 will import an ADS and convert it to an ADX.
