Can't help with that but unique id is required. when you enter it it has to be differant than any other id used in that file. Hence the unique part... may PM robert Saar. He usually answers these when he is on the forum... it's sturday and he's probably wrenchin instead of computin..

wrenching indeed.

unique ID? just punch in a bunch of random letters and numbers, it doesn't do much that effects a user, just internal TP stuff.

what exactly is ADPAC?

the analog input for the autoprom apu1.

from moates web site:

APU1+Wideband+Datalog
On the back of the APU1 you will find a terminal block with 4x screw terminals. The one closest to the USB port is GND/Common, and the other 3 are for channels 1,2,3 respectively. If you have a wideband O2 with 0-5v outputs, it can be wired up to GND/CH1 and TunerPro can then present the ADC data along with the rest of the datastream.

This is a nice article written by Charles Woock on how to configure TunerPro RT to digest 0-5v inputs such as the LM1 and LC1. The values can be brought in through the APU1 via the APADC interface. (Note: newer APU1s have the APADC interface built in as standard equipment) The tutorial explains how to set up the ADS file and render values such as AFR Air Fuel Ratio as part of your GM ALDL data stream.

Here’s the PDF file:

http://www.moates.net/zips/wideband_dat ... ro_lm1.pdf

now i did the exact same thing from this pdf file. but i still have some problems. i'm working on $36 definition (16196285) and got an ads file to datalog. but when i need to datalog, i need to connect, then send command "disable IPC" so the packet error stop and then it start datalogging like normal.
now with the modified ads with WB input, when sending command "disable IPC" packet error wont stop and hence the datalogging wont begin...
i can send you the file if you want to take a look at it

odd that adding bytes to one datastream disables mode 8 commands...

email or upload both the original with a functioning mode 8 command(disable IPC), and the one you modified, i'll see if i can find anything wrong...

just figured it out.
the guy that modified my ads file put the payload size in definition header to 65 bytes. should have stayed to 63.
now its working good, and i have good value on my log.
thanx
