The function where you are able to clear the ECM codes in TunerPro RT does that work in the program? Seems like it is not working?
If it does work it would be good, saves me unplugging the battery to clear the codes.
730 ECM
Thanks,
Mike
Clear Trouble Codes does that work in TunerPro?
Moderators: Mangus, robertisaar, dex
Hmm that code is already there and it does not seem to work. Anyone have better results?
strCommandName =Clear Trouble Codes;
rgbtCommand =F4, 56, 0A;
iTotalBytesInCommand =4;
bChecksumCommand =1;
iNumBytesInPayload =3;
iNumBytesBeforePayload =0;
bMaster =0;
bMonitor =0;
iChainTo =-1;
While I am here does tunerpro RT support the 749 $58 mask? Yeah I see that it does awesome!

Interesting. I'll have to try it with the 165. I'm not sure I've ever actually used it, though I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.
Regarding the $58, yes, it works, but for some of the more chatty BCCs its a little hard to get it to connect.
Here's a post from a buddy of mine:
Look at this thread on syty.net. I posted some info on how to get it
connected.
http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.p ... t=tunerpro
Basically download the ads file I have on the front page of
www.nwstp.com.
When you try connecting if you see the error count going up, send the
ecm silence command until it stops going up. Then you should see the
aldl data then.
Let me know if you still have problems and we'll see what else we can do
to get it working
Hope this helps,
Mark
PS - I'm going to be completely re-writing the ALDL engine over the next couple of months, so all of this will vastly improve.

Sounds good. I will look at the links you posted. I asked on behalf of a guy who has just installed turbo and is still running the stock 730 with a FMU. I said to him his best bet is to go with the 749 and $58 to get it to run optimal.
Yeah the trouble codes seem to not work in the 730, see what you can find out.
Cheers,
Mike

Clear Codes
I noticed that it didn't work on my 730 either and tried to make it function.
I also was playing with other modes and didn't have any success there either.
I am wondering if you could give a quick description on what the "check" box parameters are for in the editor and their usage.
Checksum cmd ?
Master ?
Monitor ?
Also the "payload offset" and "chain to"has me wondering too.
TIA,
John
ps, Finally got a sig pic to work
