Trying to work out my issue with a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Lt1.
Have TPV5 and EE.XDF and EE_Auto. ADX hooked to car through Moates AutoProm, settings on AutoProm correct for data aquisition only, no emulater and gets some data but it's not right? Jumps around or way off? Any idaes what I am doing wrong?
Should I change preferences to use plug in? Now it's set to AutoProm but with stand alone data aquisition it does not automatically detect hardware at start up.
AutoProm has been used succesfully on 7747, 427, 7730 and a bunch more. I know the LT1 is a differant animal. But I am connecting and I am getting some sort of data but just not right...

Also used WinFlash to read PCM, saved file and compared to others. It was identical except for cylinder volume and injector flow rate? Email to cats answer was this is an early Rev B version and I should use that definition file...

Well I found out today that I have an early Rev B bin. Does not work with the EE.XDF for TunerPro couple things off. Looked at PCM number and it's the same for Camaro, Impala etc... for a cpuple years so I was leary and one guy told me I would have problems with climate control, speedo... But I did it anyway and flased the PCM with a 1995 Impala SS bin. Car works fine, EE.XDF works fine... still can't get stable data in TPV5 and EE-Auto.ADX
Climate control still works fine. Not sure if my dynaride still works though? I have not heard it turn on since then, maybe it will.
Took it for a 30 minute drive and no error codes. Drives about the same, seemed a little perkier. One thing it did fix was my steering... yup! When I was on the freeway it would jerk a little when I corected, right or left. Now it is smooth. I was thinking more like a PS sensor or PS pump. But the tune made it go away.
So I now have a 1994 Buick RoadMaster Estate Wagon with a Impala SS tune! :jfj:
