Hello...

Post by veltiosis »

As a new user here, first of all i would like to say a big hello to everyone in this community. I'm using for more than 10 years the Race2000 from Dimsport for tuning. I decided to stop using this programm because i don't like so much the behavior of the company (updates with payment without notice, a lot of money every time for the setting files)and with the programm sometimes (poor flexibility at some cases, not all the maps that they exist at the ecu chip, etc.). So, i said to looking for something other. Tunerpro RT seems to me very attractive not because the price (i'll donate, i want to register), the environment is very familiar to me. My problem is that i can't find definitions files for european automotive brands. And so far i didn't understand how to create a xdf file based at a bin file. And as i saw a lot of users here have the same problem. I haven't anything against US cars but here in Greece you cannot find these cars. Would be very usefull for everyone if existed a detail guide for xdf creation. I know a little the winols, i can find the maps inside a chip, but 'till there. As i saw a lot of users hesitate to register the programm because they cannot find a solution with the definition files. My personal opinion is how the tunerpro can be the most popular tuning software if the users know how to create a definition file.
Thanks a lot
George

I also need to get an XDF for a Hyundai I30 CRDI. I have the ECU file but need an XDF. I have found on the net lots of development for this engine in Europe. I am prepared to try to write these files but like you don't know where to start so let me know the outcome of your request. Regards Dave
