How to manually edit MAP/RPM scalars to specific values?

Post by C-speed »

Hello,
I did a search and read the Help, but didn't find anything related to what I'm looking for.

Specifically, I'm editing an Acura NSX bin, using a NSX XDF defination file. So far everything works great in TP RT.

What I'd like to do is be able to change the X (column) scalars (in this case, it is the MAP sensor values in in/HG). The scalars are found on the bin and require a formula to convert to something readable (volts, in/hg, mbar, etc).

For the purpose of adding forced induction or a different MAP sensor, I need to be able to change the scalar values on the X-axis.

Currently, in the fuel and timing maps, i have the following settings in the XDF under the 'columns' tab:

Number of Cols: 16
Column Units: in/HG
Column Label Type: Floating Point
Label Source: Internal, Pure

Can someone explain to me how I can do this?

In a nut shell, I would like to ideally be able to just click on the Column heading where the MAP sensor scalars are on the Fuel/Timing maps and enter a value of my choosing and when I save the bin, it saves the new column values back to the bin file.

Thanks!

I am afraid you cannot do what you want. If you are using the 'Internal, Pure' label source then this suggests that you have a transfer table for your MAP sensor, correct? All you can do is edit that transfer table when you need to. The Conversion Edit button will allow you to enter an equation so that the transfer table data gets displayed as you require it on fuel and timing table maps.
