What I would like to do is add ALDL tracing to the $42 xdf I have.
I've been comparing the $42, $59 and S_AUJP .XDF and .ADS files.
I see that in S_AUJP there are different categories used. In $59 this is not. So I don't think that is need for tracing. Can I get more explaination on this, what these categories do?
*edit* I see how these are used now, by reading that helpful help section built into TP RT.

In both S_AUJP and $59 I see that there are certain .ads files associated with the xdf, this makes sense, and would be neccesary to get the tracing to work as I would think.
I added an .ads to be accociated with the $42 xdf I use, and have not been able to select the x or y axis in each xdf item, the selction bars are not high lighted.
What am I missing?
--==EDIT==--
I figured it out, I re-read the help topic on this and found the axis out type selection box it was mentioning. I didn't find these before.
Now to set the associations and test at some point, probably once I get my test bench set-up.

I would like an explantion of what the differences are between "floating point" "Interger" and "Hex digits" and how they relate to the ALDL association or how the XDF is effected by changing these options.
