Hi everyone. I know that the sct tuner is very popular and very expansive at the same time. I was looking for any alternative to it, and I came a cross TunerPRO.
In my understanding the software allows user to down load the binary file to your computer. To calibrate certain things one needs specific definition
file corresponding to their ecu/pcm in order to know what they are
calibrating. I could not find one for my car. I don't know if there is any
bast way to identity what is what in the bin.
Next down side to the TunerPRO is that one needs cables/interface in order for the comp to communicate/w ecu/pcm. The author of the TunerPro software doesn't specify which cable/setup will work/w which car for sure, and there is a lot of mixed info on what it should it be. So knowing all that I know I will need to spend some $$$. Still looking for
the right alternative to buying $400-$600 tuner I found www.obd2allinone.com
that guarantees the interface will work/w my car, however the software
included in the package doesn't offer calibration.
My question is: does anyone know any product in the range of $150 that will work/w my car for monitoring and calibration?
my car:
2005 Ford Focus ST ZX4
Engine: Duratec23 4I 2.3L
ps. If anyone took my post offensively then I apologize.
