94 corvette - issues staying connected.

Hi,
Trying to use the datalogging capabilities. I get around a dozen or so samples them loose the connection the the ecu. It reconnects grabs another 12 samples or so and then goes offline again.

I saw something similar with TTS Datamaster. There is apparently an known issue with the 94 vette in how it communicates with the CCM. They have some advanced config options that allow you to work around this. Do you know if Tunerpro has similar configs.

Note to Corvette Owners
Corvettes require a special data protocol when connecting with DataMaster due to the Central Control Module (CCM), which updates the dashboard and Heating/Ventilation (HVAC) systems. If the CCM is not working correctly, or the vehicle has been modified to remove these components, it may be necessary to select the Options-Advanced-Disable ALDL Handshake and/or the Options-Advanced-Disable Dash Refresh in order to communicate and receive data.

When first connecting using this method, it will not be uncommon to receive multiple DataMaster "Data Err" errors until a clear communication path has been established.

If the Dash Refresh is disabled, the dashboard will be frozen until data collection is stopped. This will result in the Service ASR light turning on until the vehicle ignition is cycled "OFF".

Also, during extended data collection periods, it is possible that the Service ASR light may be set. The light will be reset after cycling the vehicle ignition "OFF".

I don't know if Mark here at TunerPro has put up a new $EE.adx I sent him? But I have built one that has worked in all 94-95 LT1 tested. No one has reported back if it works or does not in the Corvette but does have the CCM Silence built in.

If you'd like to try get the $EE XDF and ADX here as they work as a set with some data tracing set up.
