Reading DTC codes 95 Olds 88

Post by DAVID HAYNES »

I'm connected to an 1995 Olds 88 3.8l type K engine. I have a check engine light in. I'm getting alot of data from TunerPro RT, but I'm missing where the DTC codes are. Where do I go to see what codes are turning the engine light on?

Thanks

you should be able to open the item list/data list view, then scroll down far enough and you'll come across the DTCs.

Yes, everything near the bottom, and everything blinking error. Bad EMC I think. Very Cool software, think I might get a obdII cable for my 98, 02, and 2007 cars. This one is one of a kind. BTW Car runs but missing timing. And Lack of power. Was thinking fuel injectors they are the only thing forgein to new engine. Will put the old ones on before getting EMC.
Thanks for pointing out they were in data at the bottom.

does tunerpro flash any error counts at the bottom of the screen?

you should have a relatively smooth looking datastream, assuming no other modules are attempting to communicate at the same time.

Error count is Zero
I know it's a different ECM than say a Bonniville with
the same engine.
But I think it wouldn't be that all over the map on everything.
