Noob question

Post by Abrown0788 »

Getting my ALDL cable here shortly and been playing around with tunerpro comparing bins and such just getting a feel for it. I use to mess around with tuning on hondas and it was a little more simpler tuning on crome than this program.

Mainly confused on where you make your fuel adjustments. Figured it would be the voumetric efficiency vs map vs rpm but when comparing stock bin to all the aftermarket tuned bins i never see any changed in that chart. Most changes i see are just in the spark advance. Any helpful info is greatly appreciated.

Vehicle is a 94 z28 camaro a4

probably because the VE tables as provided by GM are generally accurate on a stock and well maintained engine.

spark.... usually has some play in it from the factory.

I was thinking that was a possibility too. But in other words the VE tables are indeed where fuel changes are made if needed?

if the VE of the engine has changed(or the tables weren't correct to begin with), then yes.

keep in mind these also have MAFs that contribute to fueling as well.

At this point my vehicle doesnt need any fuel changes. Just trying to find some more information about this program and fuel changes is mainly the only thing im confused about and couldnt find much information on it.
