tunning suggestions
finally got everything up and running with tunerpro. Running a 1988 1227165 maf system. Motor is a 383 with 10:1 comp. Just got a chip that I can work with running $6e bin. Was wondering about some tuning tips. Blm at idle is pegged at 108 and cruise is also at 108. The blm goes to 128 when accelerating and then backs down to 108 when leveling off. I see the maf tables and wondering where to start tuning to get the blm to 128 all the time. I have a wideband o2 gauge which reads in the mid 15's at cruise and pegs lean at idle. It also goes to 10 when accelerating. There are 1-6 maf tables which give me volts and grams/sec. any suggestions on where to start?? Do I raise the grams/sec to get a richer afr??
I am sort of in the same situation....
I have a Speed Density TPI on a 383 and I am running a 1227727 ECU.
This is tough to get started on because I have no idea what is a good starting point and the "best way" to adjust parameters. I have been digging the Web for weeks and everything I find seems to either not be an available option in my TunerPro GUI or does not have the desired effect.
I am using the Super_8dm2.ecu imported and set as my .xdf file. Seems to work but I have no clue if it is correct.
For data logging I am using the 1227730_8D.adx and while it gives me data I get constant spikes in all of the data streams. For example the Vehicle Speed will show 0 and this spike to 20mph or so every other second. I'm sure there is something I need to modify but I have no clue what.
I would LOVE to figure this out so if you want feel free to call me and we can figure this out together live..... 585-627-6569.
If anyone else has any input you are free to call as well.
