Numerical oil pressure reading

Post by Jim »

Hello,
I am using TunerPro version 5.00.7774.00 with ADX file A204 E6 Trans v250 and also A201 E6 v250.

I have a 1993 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer 4.3L Vin W with auto transmission.

Your software works PERFECTLY!! and I had no trouble whatsoever setting it up.

I am not doing any tuning, just data scanning.

I am unable to see an actual, numerical oil pressure reading in any of the data values. This may be because the ECM/PCM does not provide that data for your program to retrieve.

Just curious if you might know if an oil pressure reading is actually available from this PCM. I can give you my VIN if you need it.

Thanks very much for your help,
Jim

i'm ~99% certain that PCM doesn't track oil pressure at all, which would explain why it's not in the datastream.

Isn't the $E6 mask for a different engine? I'm not sure but is your '93 a TBI or CPI?
