This question is directed really to anyone who knows the C/K models of chevy trucks or more specifically the 16144288 ECM as I am a noob with tunerpro.
I am have a 1990 C1500 4.3L with all stock parts. I am trying to use it as a type of dash for my truck. Through ALDLdroid and the ADX for my truck (A104) I am able to display everything except for fuel level. I thought this might be because the truck is so old that it isnt incorporated into the ECM.
However after looking at the back of instrument cluster and the wiring diagram within my Haynes manual, I dont understand why it DOESNT go through the ECM since there is only one connector on the rear of the instrument cluster which goes to the ECM. Can anyone answer this for me or expand my limited understanding? Thanks.
