Data logging help for $42 mask id

Post by tony-baroni »

Hi

I've been able to data log my vehicle, a 1995 van, as I was able to locate the appropriate (I think) files from this site, or tunerpro's website (though all the downloads are down today), and gearhead-efi forums.

I'm trying to help a friend with his truck to data log, and haven't been able to use the files I found. Could someone please help me?

It's a 1989 1500 Chevy 4x4 5.7L TBI.
ECM #'s:
86ANLX K130682563
1227747

From my research online, I found:
Mask ID $42, included with evaluation download of TunerPro and Tuner Pro RT.
I have found xdf and ada files from tunerpros website.

However I think what I need is an .adX file. Does anyone have a .adx for a $42 mask ID?
I also haven't found a bin, but I don't think that's necessary, since I am only data logging to find out what might be causing his engine troubles. If someone has a good one stock anyway, I'm keen to find it.

When I search this forum and gearhead EFI for $42 I received no results, which was surprising to me. I must be making an user error.
