Compare Feature

I am familiar with loading two Bins and using the compare to see the differences between them for an individual table like Spark Advance.

However, is there a way that will generate a report to show ALL the tables which contain differences? Seeing all the differences would be fantastic, but I would be happy to just identify the tables that are different, and then I can compare each 1 at a time to see the specifics.

The Difference Tool doesn’t directly label the differences as specific tables (since it works at the binary level), but you can cross-reference the addresses it lists with your XDF file. Each table, scalar, or flag in your XDF has a defined address, so you can manually match them up to see which tables are affected.

Well, with a bit of scripting or certain tools, you can automate matching address ranges from the diff output to the tables defined in the XDF..
