[req] Honda FK(6) 1.0 i-VTEC turbo p10a2

Post by Mordaur »

Hi,
I'm looking for someone that has, or could help out out with a definition file for my 2017-2022 european Honda civic FK(6) 1.0 i-VTEC turbo p10a2.
BOSCH MED17.9.3, TC1793 ecu.

I have a (pcmflash) ecu dump available.

Thanks in advance.

Honda MED17.9.3 ecu's are locked. with PCMflash and SM2 pro, only bench READ/WRITE is available.

To unlock (jailbreak):
Use SM2 pro boot/bench cable, connect it to the ECU, read out the original (and pwd) with PCMflash (module 71) and flash it back, while ticking the "Disable digital signature checks (unlock ECU)". That will allow you to flash it through OBD port (module 66).

This can be done relatively cheap (less than 50 EUR), with a SM2 pro clone, and china PCMflash dongle.

The difference between a locked or unlocked binfile is just these 2 bytes zeroed out (and the codeblock's hash).

Since there was no interest and OldSkullTuning refused my request to make a XDF for this car (not popular enough), I took it upon myself to buy a stageX mappack, manually copy that over to winols demo, and found someone kind enough to export the winols mappack and XDF (with OLS526 plugin).

It is my pleasure to share it here.

in the attachement is the winols KP and XDF for a MED17.9.3 10th gen honda civic 1.0 vtec P10A2 with G260 ECU variant.

Just because not many cares to share or help someone out in this scene, unless they can make big money out if it.
I put real personal money into this project, and want fellow enthusiasts to be able to enjoy my work.

I take no responsibility for the correctness of the KP, or the XDF export.

ENJOY.

I just found someone with OLS526 (TunerPro XDF Importer+Exporter) plugin, and gave him my .ols project file.
Anyone with a official winols license version can export .kp from a unprotected .ols project file.

There are still people out there that are willing to just help out, although hard to find these days.

Orig for E140 ECU: https://mega.nz/file/u553CRjK#Ial_MljNY ... uRK3LtYrmA
Orig for G260 ECU (my personal file): https://mega.nz/file/H9AkWSLI#PjNT39j-C ... YhPG1aOjCA

KP (mappack) file for the E140: https://mega.nz/file/alJjmBoZ#WM3-4C6Yq ... 4skzy7s7SI

The E140 mapppack is also one i bought (as is the E140 orig file), but it is not as complete as the G260 one i made (wasted money). i'll be updating and sharing that in the future.
The kp and xdf i shared above, are suited for the G260 ECU variant.

I wasted my money, so you lot don't have to. Happy tuning.

Long story short, I bought the E140 orig bin, and mappack, thinking it would be a easy transfer to my G260 ECU variant. only to find out it isn't all that complete, and the map transfer isn't all that straightforward. So i registered for a stageX account, and bought the mappack with their credits system.

I then painstakingly transferred all the maps over manually to winols demo version, and had a kind soul export everything for me. So i'm down about 300 EURO, just for having to do everything myself manually...

So I hope you lot enjoy.

UPDATE

Still working in the E140 xdf, as that is low personal priority, but i'll upload it here once finished.

I did however figure out a way to have a fully functional live tunable setup on the cheap.

Looking for a decent datalogger i was advised to look at Vehical logger. I noticed they also provide live tuning solution for 15 credits (about 150€) total. https://www.vehical.net/products/live-tuning/

So now i can let vehical live tuner monitor the local binary, make edits in the map using tunerpro and my xdf, and have instant feedback. Once finished i can flash the final file to the ECU

So for a little less then 300€ one can have a full live tuning setup. This includes: sm2pro clone and pcmflash for initial bench read and flash, tactrix openport 2.0 clone for logging and obd2 flashing, vehical logger/live tuning and tunerpro.
