Using the emulator on a 16188051

Post by ed383327 »

Hi all. I'm new to Tuner Pro RT. I have a 1993 Corvette LT1 that have connected to a 16188051 F body LT1 PCM. I installed it into a 73 Nova with TH350 transmission. It Runs and drives good after a few minutes but start up needs some work. It is starting and stalling, hunting up and down badly until it warms up and catches itself without playing with the pedal. I'm not having any luck with getting the dashboard up and running so I can see my information and try live changes to the IAC settings. I don't know if it's an issue with it being an early PCM in the OBDII transition (not 100% OBDII). I wired it for OBDII connector. I purchased an OBDI/OBDII dual function cable from C.A.T.S. and I am able to do bin mods and changes with Tuner Pro RT and program them to PCM with C.A.T.S Winflash. Is this cable compatible with the emulator on Tuner Pro RT?
Also does anyone know if I am possibly having issues due to the older style IAC on the 1993 throttle body? OR??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You need a hardware emulator, such as the Moates Ostrich 2, to be able to use the TunerPro emulation feature.
