interesting idea but what is the 'value' in doing that?

I don't see any benefit or what that could be useful for ?

Re: Easier way to "Release Tuning Hardware"?

the issue with that is some hardware can still communicate and datalog while not emulating so that would screw over us ford guys who very seldom emulate while logging too unless initially setting up a tune maybe adding a check box option in the preferences would be most ideal so folks can have the c...

RAT1 is the cal code thats absolutely useless

only thing that matters is the hardware code for that ecu its EFI-MA46G.

very unlikely you'll find anything openly available, you'll probably have to get it developed.

Re: QH mode and tune position?

You cannot change the mode as tunerpro configures it for mode 4 tune 2. As long as the QH isn't set to disabled mode 0 then tunerpro will correctly configure it.

You download tune from the ecu with the qh the same way you read a chip.

If it logged with tunerpro then that would eliminate any hardware or software mismatches. if you switch back and forth between BE and TP you need to make sure you configure the QH correctly to mode 4 tune 2 and you have to use different tunes for BE and TP since the datalogging patch is different. That's foolish to disable the rear o2's since you have front widebands.
