Topkick 7.0 litre adx file

Looking for adx file to work with 1998 topkick 7.0 litre (160 baud)

I can't find consistent info on what ECM is in that. Is it a 16196388?

Search terms:

1998 topkick ECM

Unfortunately there's very little information on this ECM. If it is truly 160 baud, then you can probably start with one of the existing 160 baud definitions. There tends to be either 20-byte or 25-byte packets, and the locations of the main data points (RPM, etc) don't move around much.

A little experimentation may yield useful results.

Thanks for getting back to me

GM did a bad thing here. The only system that used the heavy truck protocol is the ABS system, the plug is the OBD 2 style, and the factory manual states that the ECU communicates 160 baud. Took quite a bit of research and a bit of money spent to even get this far..

I was going to try one of the large gm v8 160 baud files, so thanks for the encouragement

The file from a 1990 7.4 tbi seems to work

most of the 160 baud TBI V8 datastreams are so very similar, i'm not surprised.
