Datalogging Question

Post by Rally Smith »

I have Tuner Pro RT V5 and trying to Data Log my Camaro. It will not connect the ALDL. Any help would be appreciated. I am using the ALDL Cable from here. http://www.aldlcable.com/

Thanks in advance.

V5 has been having issues with the 160 baud stuff...

but try setting the port speed to 4800 baud (IIRC for a USB, and 2400 for serial), then using the 10K resistor, you should be able to connect. i'm not aware of what mask this is, or even if a public datastream is out there, but worst case scenario, V4 will likely work with a proper ADS.

I will give that a shot.

You don't need the 10K resistor, and I have yet to reproduce any 160 baud issues.

i'll rephrase: people have been having issues with V5 and 160baud...

and i assumed the 10K was used for all 160baud streams.... a lot of the source files indicate they do, i guess GM could have changed a few things around.

I understood the original statement. Problem is, I can repro no issues on any of my machines.

10K resistor is necessary only for 1227165 and the '85 TPI ECMs.
